The outpatient department (OPD) timings of the government health facilities in the Mohali district will switch to winter hours from October 16.

Civil surgeon Dr Sangeeta Jain said the new OPD timings will be from 9 am to 3 pm and registration will open half an hour before the scheduled time of the hospitals so that there are no queues of patients and they can get hassle-free examination and treatment services. The winter timings will remain in effect till April 15, 2026.
Dr Jain added that emergency services in the hospitals will continue 24 hours as before. Previously, the summer OPD hours were from 8 am to 2 pm.
The revised timings will come into effect at all district hospital in Mohali, sub-divisional hospitals in Kharar and Dera Bassi, all primary health centres, community health centres, ayushman arogya kendra/aam aadmi clinics, subsidiary health centres, ESI hospitals and dispensaries in the district.
She also clarified that the Civil Surgeon Office in Mohali and allied hospital offices across the district will function from 9 am to 5 pm as there is no change in their working hours.
