New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will hold over 20 stakeholder meetings over the next three months to discuss the implementation of the Master Plan for Delhi (MPD)-2047, officials said on Sunday.

The outreach programme, undertaken following directions from lieutenant governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, aims to bring together elected representatives, government agencies, industry bodies, architects, planners, residents’ groups, landowners and institutions.
The meetings will focus on key provisions of MPD-2047, including transit-oriented development (TOD), high-density corridors (HDC), land pooling, low-density areas, redevelopment, housing, mobility and Yamuna rejuvenation, officials said.
“Stakeholder consultations will help identify implementation-related issues and improve coordination among agencies and stakeholders as various provisions of MPD-2047 are taken forward,” a DDA spokesperson said.
DDA will hold separate interactions with MPs and MLAs on major provisions of the plan, while government agencies and service providers will be engaged to improve coordination during implementation.
Industry bodies, including the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Punjab, Haryana and Delhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), and Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC), will be consulted on industrial development and land availability.
Officials said RWAs, group housing societies and cooperative housing societies would be engaged on topics related to redevelopment, while area-based meetings would be held with farmers, landowners and local stakeholders in land-pooling areas.
