IIIT-Lucknow BTech batch records 100% placement with highest package of ₹45 LPA
The average package offered to Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow, (IIIT-Lucknow) students was ₹25.86 lakh per annum
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow, (IIIT-Lucknow), recorded a 100% placement with the highest package of ₹45 lakh per annum, while the average package offered was ₹25.86 lakh per annum. Thus, the median package for all the placement at the institute stood at ₹23.39 lakh per annum, IIIT-Lucknow informed.
Three students — Naman Gupta, Shivam Jha and Saurabh Kumar — bagged the highest package ₹45 lakh per annum. All three were placed with Amazon, said AM Sherry, director, IIIT Lucknow.
Six students bagged offers with a package of ₹43 lakh per annum from Tekion Corp (American Unicorn startup), while three students — Saksham Varshney, Ayushi Dubey and Sandeep Padhi — bagged job offers with a package of ₹32.57 lakh per annum from Flipkart India, he said.
IIIT-Lucknow recorded a 100% placement for its flagship program in BTech.
“On comparison of the placement statistics with the last academic year (2020-2021), we see that there has been a significant increase in the highest, average and median packages, respectively. The highest package received in the previous placement session was ₹43 LPA, the average package was ₹18.42 LPA, while the median package was ₹15 LPA,” an official said.
Some of the top recruiters that participated in the placements include Amazon, Flipkart, Acko, Walmart Global Tech, Mindtickle, Intel, AMD, Tekion Corp, Accenture, Zeta, Nvidia and many other leading tech companies from across the globe.
Apart from this, several meritorious students have received internship offers from multinational companies such as Google India, LinkedIn, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Mathworks, Amazon etc.
