Misra arrived in Ayodhya late Monday night ahead of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee meeting scheduled for June 13. Trust general secretary Champat Rai was among those present at the meeting held inside the temple complex.

Sources said Misra sought details regarding the ongoing controversy linked to donation money received from devotees. He left for New Delhi after the meeting, while trust members declined to speak to the media.

Rai had earlier said the trust regularly conducts internal audits with participation from representatives of the trust and the State Bank of India. The audit process is currently underway and, so far, nothing significant has emerged, he had said.
