Yogi offers prayers at Kashi Vishwanath, Kaal Bhairav temples in Varanasi

After prayers, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath interacts with shopkeepers, children, enquires about their well-being

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples in Varanasi on Saturday morning.

After the prayers, the chief minister interacted with nearby shopkeepers and children, enquiring about their well-being and blessing the youngsters for a bright future. The chief minister also performed aarti of Baba Kaal Bhairav.

At the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the chief minister performed the Shodashopchar Pujan (worship involving 16 rituals) and did Abhishek (ritual bathing) of the deity and aarti.

As he left the premises, the chief minister also greeted the devotees present. In response, the devotees raised chants of “Har Har Mahadev.”

Cabinet ministers Rakesh Sachan and Anil Rajbhar, minister of state (independent charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, minister of state Sandeep Singh and MLAs Neelkanth Tiwari, Sushil Singh and Awadhesh Singh, among others, accompanied the chief minister and offered prayers.

Earlier, Adityanath had arrived in Varanasi on Friday for a two-day visit.
