Maharashtra state cabinet meeting has now concluded. CM Uddhav Thackeray had joined through video conferencing.

A public interest litigation (PIL) seeking the registration of an FIR against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, minister Aaditya Thackeray and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut for sedition and breach of public peace was filed in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday amid a standoff between the MVA government and the rebel Sena MLAs.

“We have come to Guwahati, along with Eknath Shinde, out of our own volition. He is carrying forward the Hindutva ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray honestly,” says Suhas Kande, Shiv Sena MLA in Guwahati, Assam.

“We request the public and Shiv Sainiks to not fall for such rumours and misinformation being spread,”  Kande adds.

“I have come to Guwahati because I'm tired of the conspiracies of people who are trying to weaken Shiv Sena for the past few days. Congress-NCP constituents tried to prevent Sambhaji Chhatrapati from getting elected in Rajya Sabha polls,” says rebel Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant.

“That's why I have decided to go with Eknath Shinde, who's promoting Balasaheb Thackeray's Hindutva. Anyway, I'm still in Shiv Sena and people of Konkan should not misunderstand the ordinary Shiv Sainiks,” he adds.

Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray appealed to his legislators in Guwahati to come and discuss the issues. Thackeray in a statement said that he respects the feelings of the legislators. He said, all can sit together and find a way out, adding that they would not get respect they got in Shiv Sena.
