Meanwhile, on Tuesday, i.e. today, senior Sena leader Sanjay Raut is scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged money laundering case. Raut, who received his summons yesterday, responded by saying he would not runaway to Guwahati, as he took a jibe at the rebel MLAs, who are camping at a hotel in the largest city in the northeastern state of Assam.
The ED's summoning of Raut has been linked by many to the current flashpoint.
