The snag occurred at around 5.15pm and was resolved in around 15 minutes. But since only one track was operational in the affected portion, several services were delayed, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) officials said.

“Trains are running at delayed intervals between Versova and Azad Nagar. Services at other stations are regular with additional trains being inducted. Regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your support,” said a statement issued by MMOPL.

One of the commuters, Manish Mishra, posted a video on social media highlighting the rush at the Marol Naka Metro station. Other passengers also took to social media, wondering about the cause for disruption.
