Felicitating 56 candidates from Delhi who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination, chief minister Rekha Gupta said her government is committed to providing students with quality education and essential resources to succeed in competitive exams.

“Feedback from successful candidates would be considered in policy planning to improve support systems for aspirants in the future,” Gupta said while at an event organised at Mukhyamantri Janseva Sadan.
The Delhi government, in collaboration with the revenue department, organised the event for the first time. Qualifiers, their parents, senior officials, including chief secretary Rajiv Verma and divisional commissioner Neeraj Semwal, attended the event, a statement read.
Gupta said the selected candidates would form an important part of the administrative system and contribute to the implementation of government schemes.
“These young officers will serve as the backbone of the administrative machinery and play a crucial role in ensuring last-mile delivery of development,” she said.
The CM said the civil services should be viewed as an opportunity for public service rather than as a means of authority and highlighted the government’s plan to strengthen the education system to make it more inclusive and competitive.
