Adding to the winter blues of city residents, the meteorological department has predicted more rain on Thursday.

The weather advisory issued by Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) stated that weather is expected to remain cloudy with possibility of isolated thundershowers over Ludhiana and its adjoining areas in the next 24 hours.

While the maximum temperature remained 13 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius.

However, pollution level improved but the AQI still continues to remain in the poor category with 219 points.
