AGARTALA: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Monday announced that Class 12 and Class 10 will begin from February 25 and February 26 next year, respectively.
TBSE chief Dr Dhananjay Ganchaudhuri said the higher secondary board examinations will begin on February 25 and will continue until March 30. The Class 10 Madhyamik examinations will be held from February 26 to March 24.
He added that the Madrassa Alim, like Class 10 board examinations, would also be conducted from February 26. The Madrassa Fazil Arts and Madrassa Fazil Theology would begin on February 25.
TBSE secretary Dr Dulal Dey said 29,943 candidates of higher secondary and 38,135 candidates of Class 10 have enrolled for the examination. “The figure in both cases may increase”, said Dey.
He said the practical examination would begin on November 17 and continue till December 1.
Over 21,000, Class 12 candidates and 30,000 Class 10 candidates appeared in the board examinations last year.
