PUNE The Pimpri-Chinchwad police arrested three persons and a minor in connection with stealing two-wheelers and mobiles.

Five motorcycles and 12 mobiles have been seized from their possession. The total worth of the goods confiscated by the police has been estimated to be Rs 1.80 lakh.
The accused have been identified as Sandesh Prabhkar Patole (25), Rupesh Janardhan Savdekar (19) and Tejas Rajesh Wankhede (18), residents of Rupeenagar slums in Talwade. The identity of the minor apprehended has not been disclosed as per the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act.
Police Naiks Vipul Hole and Santosh Sapkal received information that a few people were seen loitering suspiciously near Mangalmurti hotel. Accordingly a trap was laid and the accused were nabbed by the police team.
The police had detected their involvement in six cases of which five cases were registered at Chikhali police station and one at Chakan police station.
The action was taken under the guidance of Sandeep Bishnoi, Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissioner; Ramnath Pokale, additional commissioner; Sanjay Naik Patil, assistant commissioner; Rajkumar Shinde, senior police inspector and his staff. Further investigations are being done by Ganesh Jawadwad, police inspector of crime.
