Standing committee chairman Shreenath Bhimale said, “As per the government’s directive, PMC is bearing 60% of the losses, while the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will contribute the remaining 40%. We will contribute 484.96 crore and have instructed the administration to release the amount in instalments.”

Civic officials said PMC will release around 39.5 crore per month to PMPML over the next year.
