Pune RTO to auction seized vehicles on April 20

Four vehicles, confiscated for violation of the Motor Vehicles Act or failure to pay taxes, will be put up for sale.

Pune - The Regional Transport Office (RTO), Pune, announced on Friday that its enforcement wing will hold an online e-auction of seized vehicles on April 20. Four vehicles, confiscated for violation of the Motor Vehicles Act or failure to pay taxes, will be put up for sale.

The e-auction will take place on Monday between 12pm and 4pm on the official website, www.mstcindia.co.in](http://www.mstcindia.co.in, in scrap condition, and only Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) entities are eligible to participate in the bidding process.

“All vehicles listed for auction are currently stationed at the premises of the RTO Pune office on Alandi Road. Interested parties can inspect the vehicles in person during official working days and hours prior to the auction,” said Swapnil Bhosale, deputy regional transport officer.

He added that owners and stakeholders have a final opportunity to reclaim their vehicles before the auction date by paying pending dues or submitting the required documents. The RTO has also invited objections, if any, to be submitted in writing along with supporting evidence before the deadline.
