Usually fear dictates our actions and determines what we can achieve. We cannot make any right attempts for fear of failure. We cannot put forth our creative ideas for fear of being ridiculed. We cannot speak well before an interview board or in a meeting for fear of rejection. So, there is a need to conquer fear.

Fear is an unavoidable emotion associated with our survival instinct perpetually haunted by tremendous sense of insecurity and impermanence. It is not always rational and at times unpredictable. While it is not possible to eradicate fear, we can certainly attain mastery over fear.

But fear is not all that bad. Having fear does not necessarily mean having a problem with fear. Fear can be a deep driving force and a motivator behind success. It keeps us alert and thereby saves us from disasters.

But when it resists our action, it deprives us from happy living and exercises a telling effect on the body and mind, then it becomes a problem. One pleasant surprise we all experience is that most of our fears do not come true. But we never take any lesson from such experiences.

To conquer fear, we have to act as if we don’t have fear. This is the secret. When we are impregnated with burning desire, fear disappears. Burning desire is always stronger than delimiting fear.

Making right efforts to attract fortune in life is always within our reach. We must not spoil the same out of sheer fear and then repent like a coward.
