De Villers on Wednesday hit the nets ahead of his departure to India. During the session, he hit a fierce shot straight to an iPhone, which was recording the clip from the other end.
Former South African captain AB de Villiers has begun his preparations for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which begins on April 9 in Chennai. He will be joining his team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as the Virat Kohli-led side is scheduled to lock horns with defending champions Mumbai Indians in the season opener.
De Villers on Wednesday hit the nets ahead of his departure to India. During the session, he hit a fierce shot straight to an iPhone, which was recording the clip from the other end. He took to Instagram and shared the video with a caption that read, “Iphone out! @iplt20 prep with Cricket guru @bennie.bester.10 and @krugervanwyk . Thanks manne.”

As the new IPL season in around the corner, all eyes will be on RCB as they bought Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell for a whopping sum of Rs. 14.25 crore. Besides Maxwell, the revamped squad of the Virat Kohli-led side have big guns like Dan Christian and Kyle Jamieson.
They ended up the last season in the top four in the league stages and qualified for the play-offs. However, they couldn’t make it to the finals as they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator.
