9:20 PM IST Babar Azam, the Pakistan skipper, says that it was a very important game as they lost the first game. Says that the partnership between him and Fawad Alam was very crucial. Adds that Shaheen Afridi was outstanding with the ball. Further adds that they wanted West Indies to bat around 20 overs on Day 4, which worked for them. Informs that they wanted to set a target around 330 for West Indies and they needed to be bold to level the series. Praises Nauman Ali for providing with 3 big wickets. Mentions that they wanted to play a spinner in this game as they felt that it would turn late in the game. About Shaheen Afridi, says that he is very young and is improving constantly.

9:19 PM IST Shaheen Afridi is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH and PLAYER OF THE SERIES. Shaheen Afridi starts by saying that it was a team effort and he is happy that he delivered for his team. He adds that it was tough because it was the last day and it was very hot. He adds that they knew when one wicket comes another one will soon follow. He also adds that all credit for his development goes to his brother and ends by saying that it was a very important win and happy to get on the board on the WTC points table.

9:18 PM IST Kraigg Brathwaite, the West Indies skipper, says that they were behind the game from the start. Adds that the batters need to work on the mindset as they are technically sound. Says that they need to find a way to get through the tough periods. Further adds that the team did a superb job in the first Test and the bowlers bowled really well in this game too. Says that they were not good in the first innings in this Test and that cost them. Praises Jayden Seales and says that he is a star in the making and he can get over 250 Test wickets. Praises Pakistan and says that they were very good as a bowling group.

9:17 PM IST Earlier in the Test, Pakistan were in big trouble at the start of Day 1 as they lost 3 wickets very early. But Babar Azam and Fawad Alam ensured that they recovered from that. The first innings was all about Alam as he went on to score a ton and made sure that his team got to a decent score. Despite Day 2 being washed out, the match remained exciting as late on Day 3, West Indies lost their top order and were behind the curve. It didn't take Pakistan too long to wrap things up on Day 4 and they had a big lead of 152 as the hosts crumbled for 150. The star of the show was Shaheen Afridi as he took 6 wickets in the first innings. Pakistan came out to bat with the sole intent of scoring quick runs and they did just that as they scored 176 runs at more than 6 runs per over. That meant that West Indies needed 329 runs to win the Test.

9:15 PM IST The stars for Pakistan in this innings were the two left-arm bowlers. Shaheen Afridi and Nauman Ali struck at the right time for the visitors and provided them with key breakthroughs. Shaheen Afridi took 4 wickets while Nauman Ali took 3 big ones. Hasan Ali was also very good in the first session and got 2 wickets. Afridi was sensational throughout the game and got 10 wickets in total.

9:15 PM IST West Indies had a big target to chase but they started decently. Kieran Powell and Kraigg Brathwaite were looking good but late on Day 4, Powell was run out. On Day 5 though, they had a collapse. In their top order, no one apart from Brathwaite and Jermaine Blackwood stayed out for long and both these two batters got out after getting starts. Kyle Mayers and Jason Holder did try to repair things but Mayers got out just before the rain break and they were in trouble. Holder and Joshua Da Silva stitched a decent stand, but Holder got out before the second new ball was available. That was the final nail in the coffin as the lower order crumbled.

9:13 PM IST A wonderful performance by Pakistan and they have deserved this victory. They lost the first Test by a whisker but have dominated this Test thoroughly. The hosts were outclassed and outplayed and barring that first hour on Day 1, they were never really on top of the game.

Assuming that cloud cover will still be around, it could assist the pacers but Pakistan will also be wary of another interruption. The wicket of Mayers is a big bonus for them at this moment as they move closer to bowling at the bowlers. But the West Indies tail is also capable of batting out as seen in the last Test. For all this to happen though, first it must stop raining. Fingers crossed for just that.

5:15 PM IST Pakistan were sensational with the ball. They once again kept things tight and bowled in the right channels. Shaheen Afridi started the day well and got the first wicket. Then, Hasan Ali was the one who provided two quick wickets to push them further to victory and right when a stand was building, it was Nauman Ali who broke it to put a cherry on top for them. They would now look to wrap things up as quickly as possible. Abid Ali did drop Kraigg Brathwaite but they need to be patient as a couple of more wickets means that they will have a go at the bowlers.

5:13 PM IST A really good session for Pakistan and they are inching closer to victory and to level the series. They needed early wickets and did find just that. Kraigg Brathwaite and Jermaine Blackwood tried to repair things, but Jermaine Blackwood's dismissal just before Lunch has put Pakistan in firm control of the game.

The Pakistan players spread out on the field and it's going to be Shaheen Afridi to get proceedings underway with the ball.

2:26 PM IST Samuel Badree says that it is expected to be an excellent day weatherwise. Jeff Dujon says that many deliveries will stay low as the cracks have opened up. Adds that the bowlers will look to attack the stumps.

Says that he is a very confident player and the team is confident too. Further says, the players who have not gotten runs so far can be expected to do something special. About the pitch, says that it will stay a bit low and they need to overcome it.

1:36 PM IST Kraigg Brathwaite has a huge role to play for the hosts. He is someone who can play the long innings once set. The Windies skipper batted well on Day 4 and would look to continue to do that this morning. The task is not an easy one as Pakistani pacers will come hard at him, making for an exciting battle. The rest of the West Indies batting needs to pull up their socks and bat much better than they did in the first innings.

1:37 PM IST Hello and a warm welcome to Day 5 of the second Test match between West Indies and Pakistan. With all three results still possible, we are in for an action-packed day of Test match cricket. 14 wickets fell in total on Day 4 and if that is anything to go by, West Indies will have to bat out of their skins today. Pakistan came out all guns blazing with the bat and declared at 176/6, setting West Indies a target of 329 runs. The opening pair for West Indies was going along nicely before an elementary mistake from Kieran Powell provided Pakistan with a lucky breakthrough. It will be an interesting contest and we'll have to wait and see which team shows more grit and determination as the series is on the line as well. Stay tuned for more updates.

This game can go anywhere from this point. West Indies need 280 more runs to win, with 98 overs to be bowled, only if the weather permits. The visitors, on the other hand, have to hunt down 9 remaining wickets to level the series. Goes onto say he got a good bowling partnership which helped him achieve his best figures in Test cricket. Mentions Test cricket is very difficult and all the teams do well in this format. 11:25 PM IST Pakistan lost their heat with the ball in the final session of play but earlier in the day, they cleaned up West Indies quite easily to gain a 152-run lead. After that, the tourists were breathing fire with the bat right from the off. Imran Butt and Abid Ali were short of runs but they got them in the second innings in style. The opening stand of 70 runs set Pakistan on their way and everyone that followed chipped in with some quick runs. The skipper was the last man to get dismissed before declaring on 176/6 with a lead of 328 runs on the board. Pakistan tried to press the issue with the ball, but their pacers couldn't get much purchase in the final session. They got one breakthrough, which was a lucky one and they'll be looking for improvement on Day 5.

11:24 PM IST The fightback! West Indies' openers blunted the new ball really well. They did not repeat the same mistakes of their first innings. Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell were on their way to build a solid stand but it was an elementary mistake by the latter which gave the visitors a free breakthrough. It was then a tactical change of getting a nightwatchman into the game and it was Alzarri Joseph once again who came out to play that role. He did well to see off the day's play and the hosts would not be too disappointed with the way Day 4 ended.

11:12 PM IST Well, it is said that Day 3 is the moving day but in this game, it felt like Day 4 moved pretty quickly, also keeping in mind that Day 2 was completely washed out. West Indies would've loved to go back unscathed but it was not the case. Pakistan still hold the upper hand in this game, but a new day can bring up new challenges.
