ICC announces umpire appointments for final, play offs of WC

Australian Steve Davis of Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and Brian Jerling of South Africa will officiate the Women World Cup final to be played between England and New Zealand at the North Sydney Oval on Sunday.

Australian Steve Davis of Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and Brian Jerling of South Africa will officiate the Women World Cup final to be played between England and New Zealand at the North Sydney Oval on Sunday.

Brian Aldridge will be the match referre, while Tyron Wijewardena and Jeff Brookes have been named as the third and fourth umpire respectively.

The International Cricket Council also announced details of the umpire appointments for the play-off ties to be played tomorrow.

India will take on Australia for the third place at Bankstown Oval on Saturday and the match will be officiated by Sarika Prasad and Tony Hill as the on-field umpires and Kathy Cross acting as third umpire.

The fifth/sixth-place play-off between West Indies and Pakistan at Drummoyne Oval will be umpired by Shahul Hameed and Lakani Oala with Neil Harrison performing the duties of third umpire.
