IND vs SL Highlights: Dhruv Jurel's century was the biggest highlight of the day.

IND vs SL Highlights: India ended a rain-interrupted Day 2 firmly in control of the second Test in Colombo, first piling up 503/9 declared before reducing Sri Lanka to 8/2 in three overs at stumps. The hosts trail by a massive 495 runs. Resuming on 300/5, India lost debutant Saransh Jain early for six, but Sri Lanka's hopes of quickly running through the lower order disappeared as Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel added 112 runs. Pant counter-attacked his way to 63 before falling immediately after lunch, while Jurel carried on through multiple rain interruptions. ...Read More

Jurel eventually completed a superb century and remained unbeaten on 115 from 177 balls, shepherding the tail and helping India cross 500. Manav Suthar contributed 18, while Mohammed Siraj hung around for 29 balls as India stretched Sri Lanka's workload to 138 overs. Asitha Fernando finished with 4/106.

India then made the small window before stumps count. Sri Lanka's top order was rocked by two wickets inside three overs, leaving them 8/2 and facing an enormous task when play resumes on Day 3.
