India lead the series 1-0 and if they manage to wrap up the series 2-0 they will get 124 rating points that will push South Africa (122) to the second place followed by Australia (116) and Sri Lanka (115).

However, if the Mumbai Test ends in a draw India will join South Africa on 122 ratings points but Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s side will be placed behind Graeme Smith’s side when the ratings are calculated beyond the decimal point.

In case of a Sri Lanka victory, both sides will retain their pre-series rankings.

Unlike the ODI Championship table, the Test Championship table is only updated after the end of a series.
