IND vs AUS Highlights, 2nd Test, Day 3: India produced yet another commanding show as Rohit Sharma and Co. defeated Australia by six wickets in the second Test in New Delhi. The hosts once again wrapped up the proceedings well inside three days to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Cheteshwar Pujara, who was making his 100th Test appearance, hit the winning runs as he returned unbeaten on 31. KS Bharat was the batter at the other end, who finished on 23 off 22 balls. With 115 required to win, India lost KL Rahul early in the run chase. Rohit Sharma and Pujara then moved things forward, before India lost their second wicket after a terrible mix-up. Rohit was run-out for 31, and Virat Kohli along with Pujara took charge. The former was then stumped for 20, reducing India to 69/3. Shreyas Iyer then played a few shots before throwing away his wicket for 12. Pujara, however, remained firm at one end and drove India home. The day started with Ravindra Jadeja running a riot as he scalped seven wickets. R Ashwin too picked three wickets as Australia were packed for 113 in the second innings after resuming from the overnight score of 61/1. It all started with Ashwin striking in the first over, removing Travis Head for 43. Steve Smith was packed moments later, who was trapped LBW for 9. Jadeja then joined the party and cleaned up Marnus Labuschagne for 35. The demolition continued and Matt Kuhnemann was the final Aussie batter to be dismissed.
