KL Rahul slammed a quick-fire half-century against Australia

India vs Australia, warm-up match highlights T20 World Cup 2022: KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav smashed half-centuries as India piled a stiff 186/7 in the warm-up match against Australia at The Gabba in Brisbane on Monday. In response, Aaron Finch and Mitch Marsh got Australia to a strong start in the run chase. They got Australia past 50 in 5 overs, before Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed Mitchell Marsh on 35 in the final over of the powerplay. Finch played a crucial knock for the hosts. However, his batting heroics went in vain as Mohammed Shami-inspired India secured a 6-run win over Australia. 

Earlier, KL started the proceedings with some classic boundaries and completed his 50 off just 27 balls after India were invited to bat first. He was dismissed on 57 off 33 balls. Suryakumar, on the other hand, took 32 balls to complete the milestone. He departed right after completing his 50 in the final over. Rohit Sharma scored 15(14), while Virat Kohli managed 19(13).
