Tilak Varma comes of age in the most spectacular fashion in a high-pressure environment. It wasn't his biggest, it wasn't his blitziest, but it was certainly his gutsiest. 69* truly important runs after the top order crumbled, staying in right through to the end. Given able support by Shivam Dube, with Rinku Singh whacking the winning runs.
A monumental collapse from Pakistan, and there is no other way to put it. An 84-run opening partnership meant they were going strong at 113/1 in the 13th over, but things simply fell apart from that point forward. In the next 7 overs, they lost 9 wickets, and added only 33 runs. Kuldeep Yadav stayed on fire, sparking 4 wickets, including three in the space of an over. Varun, Axar, and Bumrah chipped in with two apiece. At the end, India chasing 147.

Pakistan endured a terrible batting collapse, losing nine wickets for 33 runs, with Indian bowlers enjoying a field day.
