Mithali Raj back at No 1 spot in ICC ODI rankings for batters
This is the ninth time Mithali has reached the number one spot among batters since first occupying the spot more than 16 years ago.
Indian women's ODI team captain Mithali Raj is back at the top spot of ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings for batters. This took place after the latest weekly update in the rankings, which takes into account performances in the last three matches of the five-match series between the West Indies and Pakistan. Mithali's rise was facilitated by a drop in the rankings of West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor, who lost 30 points after scoring 49 and 21 in the two times she batted.
