No action against three players: BCCI
BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla on Wednesday said the press report featuring three Indian players enjoying a midnight beach party before Asia Cup final in Karachi was totally wrong and the Cricket Board would neither enquire nor take any action against them.
"The report appeared in a leading Urdu daily Jung was totally wrong," Shukla, who was in the steel city on personal visit, told newsmen.
"BCCI will neither order for any probe nor take any action against the three Indian cricketers in this regard," Shukla said adding that in fact, the photographs of the players including Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina were not of Karachi beach.
Those were old photos taken at Sydney, Australia during the last tour, he said.
