WPL 2026 Auction Highlights: UP Warriorz broke the bank, using their RTM card for Deepti Sharma, as they re-signed the Indian all-rounder for ₹3.2 Cr at the WPL 2026 Auction in New Delhi on Thursday. The Warriorz matched Delhi Capitals' bid for the Indian all-rounder. Also, Amelia Kerr returned to Mumbai Indians, for ₹3 Cr. Meanwhile, Gujarat Giants beat DC in a huge bidding war for Sophie Devine, signing her for ₹2 Cr. Meanwhile, DC purchased South African Laura Wolvaardt for ₹1.1 Cr, from her base price of ₹30 Lakhs. GG have also signed Renuka Singh for ₹60 Lakhs and Bharti Fulmali for ₹70 Lakhs. Georgia Voll went to RCB for ₹60 Lakhs. UPW also used their RTM cards for Kiran Navgire ( ₹60 Lakhs) and Sophie Ellcestone ( ₹85 Lakhs)....Read More

On the other hand, Meg Lanning joined UPW for ₹1.9 Cr and so did Phoebe Litchfield ( ₹1.2 Cr). DC also broke the bank for Charani, signing her for ₹1.3 Cr. Sneh Rana and Lizelle Lee also joined DC or ₹50 and 60 Lakhs. MI had a small bidding war with RCB, signing South African pacer Shabnim Ismail for ₹60 Lakhs. Other than Voll, RCB have also acquired Lauren Bell ( ₹60 Lakhs), Nadine de klerk ( ₹65 Lakhs), Radha Yadav ( ₹65 Lakhs). UPW also used their RTM card for Kranti Goud ( ₹50 Lakhs). Meanwhile, Harleen Deol joined UPW for ₹50 Lakhs. In the sixth category for spinners, UP Warriorz once again broke the bank, buying Asha Sobhana for ₹1.1 Cr.
