Sisodia, who was speaking at a function organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation here, said he has always been inspired by Finland’s model against corruption.

“Finland inspired me to work against corruption in India. The people there are training their mind to be honest without a cutting throat competition. They are nurturing their minds in education,” he said while emphasising on works carried out by the AAP government in education sector.

He said children in the nation were being taught for ages that there were developing, developed and under developed countries and till date nothing changed.

“Sadly even today we are telling our children the same thing (Indian being developing country). That we will be get developed one day. I now wonder if this is a farce,” Sisodia said.

He said check on the corrupt practices and strengthening education system was the key to make country “developed”.

Sisodia said after taking oath, his first priority was to bring changes in the education system and this he claimed has worked well.

The Delhi deputy CM, however, didn’t touch the issue of the AAP government facing corruption charges in Delhi.

The anti corruption bureau arrested a relative of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday in connection with a corruption case.
