After the Delhi government took the decision to increase minimum wages, the Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the prices of CNG and PNG.

Because of revision, there will be an increase of 35 paise per kg in the consumer price of CNG in Delhi and 40 paise per kg in the consumer price of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
“Consequent upon increase in minimum wages notified by Delhi government recently, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), a joint venture of GAIL (India) Ltd., BPCL and Government of NCT of Delhi, announced marginal revision in the selling prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad,” said Amandeep Singh, chief general manager of IGL.
The new price of CNG is Rs37.65 per kg in Delhi and Rs43.15 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad from Tuesday midnight.
IGL will continue to offer a discount of Rs1.50 per kg in CNG for filling between 12.30am to 5.30am at select outlets.
The consumer price of PNG to the households is also being revised by 81 per scm across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad from Wednesday. “The price of domestic PNG in Delhi will increase from Rs24.05 per scm to Rs24.86 per scm and in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will increase from Rs25.56 per scm to Rs26.37 per scm,” Singh said.
