The host production company for the Commonwealth Games, which provided high-definition television coverage to Doordarshan, has asked the Organising Committee to pay a bill of $15,000, as loss incurred in transporting their equipment.

The consignment was stuck at Yamuna Sports Complex after the venue in-charge refused to sign papers and clear it for transport.
The equipment could not be moved which resulted in loss to the company, as they were to cargo it back to UK on a flight.
The OC, in return, is going to hand over the bill to Delhi Development Authority (DDA), the agency that built the sports complex in east Delhi.
The OC said that being the hosts the contract was signed with them but since the civic agency delayed the process it was their job to pay for it.
“The company officials told us that every hour was important for them and they would lose out on money if it was not sent back in time. The consignment reportedly missed the flight,” said a senior OC official.
