Apparently depressed over her financial condition, a 32-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday at her home in north Delhi, leaving behind her three children, the police said.

Kalpana Thakur, who hailed from Bihar, was found hanging from the ceiling in her rented accommodation this morning, the police said.

The landlord found her hanging and called the police who recovered a purported suicide note. The note did not blame anyone. It read that there was no problem between the couple and the poor financial condition could be the reason for her taking the extreme step. pti
