The RWAs, under the aegis of the Gurgaon Citizens' Council (GCC), have asked the developer to show all the sources of revenue and expenditure.

The hike will be implemented on April 1.

GCC president RS Rathee said DLF plans to hike maintenance charges from the existing R1 per square yard per month to R2.5 in DLF City.

The hike would be applicable on residents only after the associations were convinced of its requirement.

DLF Group claimed most RWAs in DLF City agreed to the revised maintenance charges. The existing rates have been applicable since 2004.

This, after overheads on maintaining the township increased manifold. A DLF official said it was necessary to implement the new charges to provide better services to residents.

"We are ready to reveal the sources of expenditure and income to the RWAs," said a senior DLF officer.
