Housewife fights robbers, pays with her life

Kavita Kumar, was bludgeoned to death with a heavy object after she resisted the robbers who had barged into her Alpha-2 residence, reports Kapil Datta.

A 23-year-old wife of a software engineer was killed by robbers in Greater Noida on Thursday night.

Kavita Kumar, was bludgeoned to death with a heavy object after she resisted the robbers who had barged into her Alpha-2 residence around 8.30 pm. When her husband Lokesh returned home after work he found his wife lying dead in a pool of blood.

The police said that the robbers decamped with Rs 1 lakh cash and gold jewellery.

Also on Thursday, two unidentified carjackers snatched an Alto car from the driver of its owner.

The owner, one Karamvir Singh, runs a car rental agency.
