Calling the receipt of an anonymous letter "disturbing", the Delhi High Court on Monday referred the case of hostile witnesses in the Jessica Lall murder case to another bench.

"I passed you (Delhi Police) something which was anonymous. It is very disturbing and I want you to clarify if there is any nexus between investigators and lawyers, between investigators and experts, between investigators and court. I want that to be pointed out," a Division Bench headed by Justice RS Sodhi said.
The court expressed displeasure over getting the anonymous letter while hearing the matter pertaining to witnesses who turned hostile in the Jessica Lall murder case.
The bench also comprising of Justice HR Malhotra later referred the case of hostile witnesses to another bench.
