Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi and senior BJP leader LK Advani visited former Union minister VC Shukla, who was injured in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh, at a hospital in Gurgaon.

He was airlifted from Chhattisgarh on Saturday morning, a day after the attack, and was admitted in Medanta Hospital on outskirts of Delhi.
He was operated in Chattisgarh, where three bullets from his body were recovered. He was brought to Gurgoan, in outskirts of Delhi, in a critical but stable condition.
"I went to the ICU and all parameters indicate that there is stability (in Shukla's condition). I felt relieved after seeing him," Advani told reporters outside the hospital.
Doctors at Medanta described his condition as still critical and he was under around the clock observation.
PM and Gandhi inquired about his health and assured of all possible help.
