India's engagement with Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is expected to get a boost with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee attending the Ministerial Conference in Teheran on Tuesday.

The conference will discuss steps to reinvigorate the body particularly on the economic front.
Mukherjee, who is leading a high level delegation to the Iranian capital for the two-day meet, is expected to have a number of meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Conference.
As one of the founders of the NAM, New Delhi remained strongly committed to its purposes and principles and would continue its active and constructive engagement within it, the External Affairs Ministry said.
"India will work to further strengthen solidarity and cooperation among the member states of NAM which continues to play its crucial role in international affairs," it added.
