All 70 candidates of the Aam Aadmi Party, which surveys have put as leading in the elections, will hold roadshows in their constituencies. The party's chief ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal is campaigning in his New Delhi constituency.

The party accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to "buy votes" with money and liquor. "We have information that the BJP is distributing money, liquor and non-vegetarian food to the public and they are also seizing voter identity cards of poor," said AAP leader Ashutosh.

"We also have information that they are trying to traumatise and threaten these voters that if they vote for

AAP, they will have to bear the consequences later," he claimed.

BJP spokesperson GVL Narsimha rejected the allegation and accused AAP of selling party tickets. "They (AAP) have even sold their party tickets in these elections and their candidates were found collecting and storing liquor for distribution in elections," said Narsimha.

"They make all kinds of allegations against every party and institution including the Election Commission but they think they are not required to answer any questions.

BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, who is contesting from the Krishna Nagar seat, urged Delhiites to ensure elections "don't happen again after a year". She was referring to her rival Kejriwal, who quit as chief minister in 49 days last year.

"Today I want to thank every Delhi citizen and volunteers and workers. Now, we will work to return that love. People should vote so that elections don't have to happen again after a year," said Bedi.

"Today my past comes to meet me, my good work in past is seen in how people treat me with love and respect," she added.

BJP MPs and Union ministers will hold at least one rally in each of the 70 constituencies in the national capital.

Finance minister Arun Jaitley will address a public meeting at 11 Ashoka Road in support of Nupur Sharma, the BJP candidate against Kejriwal. BJP's national president Amit Shah will hold a public meeting in Madanpur Khadar of Okhla assembly seat.
