Delhi police on Wednesday filed a supplementary chargesheet against four suspected terrorists of Indian Mujahideen including its media cell head Mansoor Asghar Peerbhoy, accusing them of being involved in the serial blasts in Delhi on September 13 last year.

In the chargesheet filed in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja, the Special Cell sought prosecution of Peerbhoy and his two associates -- Mobin Kader Sheikh and Asif Bashir Sheikh -- and, Mohd Hakim under various provisions of the IPC, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosive Substances Act.

The police also charged Peerbhoy, a techie, who worked for Yahoo Inc, and the associates with the provision of the Information Technology Act for allegedly sending terror e-mails by hacking wi-fi system to media houses minutes before the serial blasts in New Delhi.

They listed 17 witnesses in the 18-page chargesheet filed in connection with the case registered with Barakhambha Road police station for the blast that had claimed lives of two persons and left 28 others injured.

Peerbhoy and his associates were arrested by the Mumbai police in September last year.
