Beyond DU counselling session for students

HTCampus.com, the online education portal of Hindustan Times, organised the HT Beyond DU 2014 counselling session for Class 12 students looking to join college on July 12. The session is organised every year to facilitate students who are looking for options beyond Delhi University.

HTCampus.com, the online education portal of Hindustan Times, organised the HT Beyond DU 2014 counselling session for Class 12 students looking to join college on July 12. The session is organised every year to facilitate students who are looking for options beyond Delhi University.

This year, eminent speakers focused on courses and careers available in the fields of engineering, management, mass communication and media, fashion studies and hotel management. George Thomas from Maharaja Agrasen School of Management, Solan, spoke on the new trends in management. Mitali C Goswami from Satyam Fashion Institute spoke about the various fields in fashion studies. HS Dewan from The Lalit Suri Hospitality School highlighted the new age career opportunities in hospitality. Other speakers at the event included Shobha Kulshrestha, director, Vibha Consultants, and Ranjit Singh, director, SGT Institute of Engineering & Technology.

The talk was followed by a Q&A session where students and parents interacted with the speakers. The event was sponsored by Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi, Solan, and was partnered by Satyam Fashion Institute, The Lalit Suri Hospitality School & Hamilton Academy of Design.
