Class 10 students relieved with an easy science paper

At present, students of class 10 have two options —

Students of class 10 who took their CBSE science examination on Wednesday said the question paper was easy, with some calling it a ‘cakewalk.’

Class 12 students who wrote their English examination on Tuesday also said the paper was easy.

At present, students of class 10 have two options — they can either take their school’s internal examination or opt to take the CBSE board examinations. The students are awarded grades and this system was started in 2011.

“It was an easy paper and I was able to solve all the questions. So I am happy,” Saniya James, a student of St Angel’s, Rohini, said.

“Both the subjective and objective questions were of appropriate quality for the exam. There were no questions that were out of the syllabus. Even students seemed very satisfied with the paper,” Minoo Bhatia, head of department (HOD) for science, Mount Abu Public School, said.

According to CBSE data, 2,91,371 students of class 10 are registered with them. Out of the total number of students, 1,51,475 are boys and 1,39,896 are girls.
