“When I came back from USA to India in 1992 after doing my masters in mass communication with a specialisation in wedding management, people made fun of me as to what kind of profession is this", said Neeta Raheja.
She is one of the first women in India to pioneer the concept of ‘designer weddings’. Weddings are a big business now. The magnitude of wedding business has gone over by 500%. Professionals these days are doing tasks ranging from invitation cards to gift packing to selection of venue and cuisine.
