With admissions round the corner, Delhi University (DU) has decided to do away with last year’s complicated ICR (Intelligent Character Reader) format in admission forms.
Moreover, students will no longer be required to feed in college codes or subject codes. They have to fill in codes for subjects they offered Class XII.

Also, students will be be given the option of choosing an unlimited number of colleges, unlike before.
DU, from this session, will introduce the OMR (Optical Mark Recognisation) format wherein students will select colleges by darkening the appropriate circle.
The form has two sheets and the second sheet is a carbonless copy. Students cannot use blue or black pens to fill out the form.
