XLRI - Xavier School of Management has earned accreditation for its flagship management and doctoral programs from AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
This is the second coveted international accreditation for XLRI after Association of MBAs (AMBA) which XLRI had received in 2015. Importantly, XLRI joins a select group of global business schools that has received the AACSB accreditation for its doctoral program.
Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.
AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education. It is earned by less than five percent of the world’s business management programs. Achieving AACSB accreditation is a multi-year process of rigorous internal review, engagement with an AACSB assigned mentor and peer review. During the process, the school focuses on developing and implementing a plan to align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas related to strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.
