IIT Guwahati will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2018, eight years after it handled the exam in 2010.
The announcement was made by IIT Guwahati on its official website. GATE scores enable candidates to get admission to MTech/ME course.
IT Guwahati will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 next year.
Admission to postgraduate courses (master’s and doctoral) in the country, with MHRD and other government scholarships/assistantships in engineering, technology, architecture and science is open to those who qualify GATE. The GATE score is also used by some PSUs for their recruitment.
The GATE score is valid for three years. There is no restriction in the number of attempts for taking the test.
