KC Mahindra Education Trust will offer interest-free loan scholarships to Indian nationals for postgraduate studies abroad in various fields. The maximum amount for the scholarship will be Rs. 2 lakh per scholar, except for the three KC Mahindra fellow scholarships for which the maximum amount will be Rs. 8 lakhs per scholar. Candidates studying in the final year of the degree or diploma courses are also eligible to apply, provided they produce their final year certificate before June 30, 2014.
Eligibility: Students must possess a first class degree or an equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognised Indian university. They must have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from September, 2014 but not later than February, 2015. The applicant is required to state definitely all sources of financial help by the way of university scholarships, college fellowships or other financial support from relations and friends or from other trusts.
