OFRC Group C Exam 2017: What candidates should know now

Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC) of the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) recently released the provisional answer keys and question paper of the examination held on September 10 for direct recruitment of semi-skilled grade industrial employees (IEs) Group ‘C’ in various ordnance factories across India.

Candidates are selected through a written examination and trade test (practical) at the respective factory along with document verification.

The last date for challenging the provisional answer keys of the first phase written examination was September 20.

A third party expert panel will be formed to examine the objections raised by candidates and to finalise the revised/final answer key for evaluation. The decision of this panel and the result based on the same will be final.

Candidates will be given marks in the written test on the basis of the final answer keys

. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates. And based on their merit, candidates 1.25 times the number of vacancies shall be called for practical.

The credentials of the candidates called for the trade test will be verified with the original documents at the time of the test. The final merit list of candidates who qualify the trade test will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in the written test.

The syllabus for trade test will be as per trade test specification of the semi-skilled grade of the relevant trade.
