The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Admit Card 2018 for RRB ALP and Technician Recruitment examinations 2018. Candidates who are appearing in the examination on August 29, 30 and 31 can download their RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 now.
Here is the direct link to download RRB admit card ALP and Technician Recruitment examinations. As there is heavy rush for admit cards, candidates may have to wait for a while and try to download admit card again.
Earlier on Sunday, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) issued a notification saying that Computer Based Tests (CBT) for recruitment of Level 1, Group D posts (CEN 02/2018) is likely to start from September 17. The board will release the exam city, date and shift details 10 days before the start of computer based test. Detailed CBT schedule shall be released shortly.
The board had invited online applications from eligible candidates for Group D posts in level 1 of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix in various units of Indian railways. The registration process started in February. The number of vacancies to be filled through this recruitment is tentatively 62,907. The various posts to be filled are: Track maintainer Grade IV (Trackman), Gateman, Pointsman, Switchman, Helpers in electrical/engineering/mechanical/signal and telecommunication department, porter etc.
Around 15 million people have registered for Group C and D jobs advertised by the Indian Railways. The railway board is presently conducting the CBT of candidates who have applied for the Group C posts of assistant loco pilot (ALP) and technicians under CEN 01/2018.
