For the first time, metal detector, network jammer and bug detectors have been installed at the examination centre where the test will be conducted in 16 classrooms at the school in Jakhu. The school, where at least 480 students will appear in AIPMT re-test, already has CCTV cameras installed in the campus.

The school administration has deputed 32 teachers for examination duty and two teachers will be present in every classroom besides six invigilators. At least 15 police officials will look after the security arrangement at the school.

A team from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) visited the centre to take stock of all arrangements on Thursday.

Students have been asked to strictly adhere to the dress code prescribed by the board for the examination as they would be allowed inside the hall otherwise - light-coloured half sleeves shirt without any fancy badge or buttons, slippers (no shoes), and ornaments on their body.

The AIPMT test which was earlier held on May 3 had seen 630,000 students writing the test at 1,050 centres across India for over 3,800 medical seats.

The top court had scrapped the May examination after the question paper was leaked and the answer sheet was circulated with the help of electronic devices during the exam on May 3.

It cancelled the test after investigators said answer keys of 123 questions were transmitted through 75 mobile phones in Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Haryana and several other states.
