This year, India’s first dance-based movie, ABCD2, released successfully, proving that there’s finally money in dancing. From hip-hop and salsa to B-boying and krumping, dance is a serious and viable business for many.

Choreographers direct sequences of dance movements, keeping both form and motion in mind. Choreographers are in demand for musicals, movies, TV advertisements, theatre performances, reality shows, fashion shows, and cultural programmes.
