There may be no second cutoff list at SRCC, but the good news is that most north campus colleges are likely to keep admissions open for most courses.
And the cut-off may actually fall for some science and humanities courses by anything between one and three per cent — that's a lot, considering the competition is now balanced on decimal marks.
While BCom and Economics courses have been swamped by students in most colleges despite the high cut-off, colleges like Hindu say they may keep admissions open for these subjects.
"We may not decrease the cut-off, but we will keep admissions open for commerce because these students do tend to move," said Kavita Sharma, Hindu College principal. The case is different in colleges like IP and Ramjas where the cut-off was slightly lower."
