Life v/s applied science: “What is the difference between applied and life sciences?” asked Mansi Aggrawal, a student.
Faculty told her life sciences would be ideal for someone seeking a wholesome understanding of a subject, while applied science would be preferred by job-seekers.
Faculty advised students to take their time in making decisions, as admissions were not on a 'first serve, first admission' basis, but also said it was better to take admission in the first cut-off list, as theycould always cancel admission if they made it to the course of their choice in the second list.
