Dealing with toddlers is not everyone’s cup of tea. A nursery teacher not only focusses on the overall personality development of a child, but creates a stimulating learning environment as well.

The main responsibility of a nursery teacher is to focus on the development of the five important aspects of a child’s personality: cognitive development, speech and language development, physical development, social and emotional development.

“Teaching toddlers requires a great deal of patience, hence an intuitive understanding of child psychology is important. Each child puts our training and experience to test. They will accept you only when you have won their hearts. Other than this, satisfying parents is also important,” says Meera Budhiraja, principal, Nestlings Play School, Delhi.
